Project brief for Ian’s bus was source an RHD early bay non Walktrhu Westy and customise to his exact requirements for his sons Birthday.

Main requirement was that is has to run and drive as close to a new car as possible. New engine, new modern loom, Disc brakes, new gearbox etc etc

Here are a few snaps thus far….

Bus sourced, looked fairly solid, had a few hidden nasties but nothing too serious.

Repair work begins

Skip a few weeks and bus is back painted in his custom colour code for his sons football team.

Note here a full custom smoothed dash and metal glove box lid.

4 inch narrowed beam, CSP disc brakes, 4.5 and 5.5 polished fuch, its getting there……

Interior wood work going in, solid wood throughout. Custom hand made tongue and groove from Iroko wood with Walnut inlay.
